Another seamless rain sample. This one is a slight bit heavier!. As usual, credit is hugely appreciated but not necessary! use by anyone for anything!.
A recording of daytime rain on a wooden deck. All my sounds are fully free to use, but please consider leaving a comment to let me know how you'll be using them. Just curious! :).
Ambisonic test recording made with a sennheiser ambeo mic into a sound devices mixpre 6 ii. Recorded in 32bit float. Mic position was 'endfire'. Not too much action but it gives a good idea of how a quiet ambiences sound in ambisonic. You will need the sennheiser ambeo plugin in order to convert this recording into b-format.
Hearing the hard and deep thunderstorm!it loops really great! can't hear it well? maybe it's too deep to hear, turn up your speaker, and if you don't have one you can use something that helps the sound, so you can hear it way better!.
A summer thunderstorm. You hear heavy rain. First roll of thunder at minute 0'08'', thunder at minute 0'45'', a loud clap of thunder at minute 1'30''. After that the rain subsides. Recorded with zoom h2n in july 2022, switzerland, grison.
A rain and hail storm recorded through my window in my backyard. Sounds are impacts with the ground and pings from a nearby metal fence. Recorded with an at2020 mic. I recorded this for people to be able to freely use this in any type of production they want.
Recorded in december 2022 at 3lcast studio with two behringer c2 stereo microphones for the acoustic version of the song "a ellas (por el sonido mismo)". Pure direct unprocessed console sound.
Wind and rain; remnants of hurricane ida, now a tropical storm, moving through ny. Recorded at 6:30 p. M. Using a sound devices mix pre-3 and a 3dio free space xlr binaural microphone (with wind muffs).
This is the sound of cold winter wind finding its way through the gaps in our living room window. The recording has been edited to remove long stretches of silence, and has had some light noise reduction applied. The noise floor is still quite high though, so maybe best to put this one fairly low in the mix. Recorded using a zoom h2 with its rear mics activated.
